Due to the lack of clear application of sustainability standards in the urban community and the increasing problems in old buildings, the "Egyptian Green Pyramid" standards have been adopted to promote sustainability. These standards emphasize the importance of rehabilitating old buildings and archaeological sites, protecting them from damage, and making this a priority for governments and relevant bodies. Egyptian communities face many challenges, such as pollution and informal settlements, which makes it crucial to adopt sustainable development principles as a fundamental part of building a better future. Construction-related legislation plays a key role in advancing sustainability and supports creating an environment that preserves resources for future generations،Sustainable development requires adjusting construction laws to align with international systems, and the development of the "Egyptian Green Pyramid" system is a step towards sustainable architectural thinking that enhances environmentally-friendly use of resources. It also involves preserving the local environment, which is a key factor in attracting tourism. Sustainable interior architecture aligns with nature and modern lifestyles, requiring the implementation of modern environmental solutions that prioritize human health. Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development aims to improve the quality of current life without affecting the rights of future generations, with a focus on economic, social, and environmental dimensions. In recent decades, the government has intensified efforts to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions, in line with the increasing population and its growing energy needs, in order to ensure sustainable growth and minimize negative impacts.
