Abstract

In light of the increasing environmental challenges, it has become necessary to think about sustainable solutions to the problems that affect our environment. Among these challenges is the accumulation of agricultural waste and the damage it causes. In order to avoid these damages, we have reached the necessity of exploiting these wastes by using them in the Palace of Culture, as the Palace Culture represents a cultural center that includes within its walls cultural and artistic activities that reflect the community’s heritage and creative spirit. It combines contemporary aesthetics with details inspired by the surrounding environment.
Among the problems faced by the Palace of Culture are: the use of unsustainable materials, the absence of recycling, the waste of natural materials resulting from waste, and their failure to use them in the design of interior spaces. The research method relies on description and analysis, as we extract design elements from the contemporary environment.
The Palaces of Culture are important, as they are vital centers for the dissemination of arts and knowledge and are considered a major destination for the local community, as they enhance cultural and community awareness. The relationship between the Palaces of Culture and agricultural waste, such as plant remains and rice straw, lies in the production of environmentally friendly materials used in the interior design of these palaces, which makes these palaces A role model for utilizing natural resources.
Among the results that will be achieved from utilizing agricultural waste in the interior design
