ABSTRACT
The great changes that have swept the world during the recent period have led to a growing public awareness among developing countries towards the necessity of change because their governments have become accountable to their people, in light of the growing choices that are accompanied by promising aspirations towards the development of societies for current and future generations.
This growing awareness of the responsibility of governments before their citizens has been accompanied by the decisive and crucial role that (good administration) plays in improving the conditions of people within society, and the successful solutions it can create to issues of poverty, social injustice, insecurity, and improving public services. Aiming at the goal of achieving the public interest, which is a declared goal of all political and administrative systems in the world.
The research will address learning about urban management through basic axes (identifying the basic concepts related to urban management, its stages and types), studying and analyzing the role of urban management in sustainable urban development. In the context of modern technological developments.
