Abstract
Using a historical, descriptive, and analytical approach, the study aimed to identify design in digital art in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its practitioners, and digital art methodologies. Because of fast expansion, cultural development, and the introduction of digital photography equipment during the last two decades, digital art design has blossomed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In Saudi Arabia, the computer invaded the realm of fine arts. In the beginning, digital art appeared in Saudi Arabia for purely commercial purposes, commercial artistic goals, or marketing purposes, whether they were the arts of printing, design, and advertising, followed by the arts of photography, drawing, fine art, and sculpture. Modern drawing and design software have enabled creativity and invention, and digital art appears to have been inspired by the direction of this art in Saudi Arabia and worldwide. He was initially rejected from other countries, but he was able to find a place for himself on the Saudi art scene, and he was able to make a presence at the forum, as well as at various exhibitions, and digital art in Saudi Arabia, despite its reliance on the computer as a tool for producing artistic designs, but the viewer feels the difference between a designer, and others in creative expression, the subject of the design, and the color circle that differed from one another, regarding the incorporation of traditional media into digital design; certain works by the Saudi digital art group inclined towards contemporary trends, creativity, and guessing, while others tended towards sensuality, and yet others depended on hazy intuition and slow completion. And they were united in carrying an authentic event, beautiful visions, and a design will that was touched in their designs through their methods as artistic symbols, and suggestive abstractions inspired by the nature of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ancient heritage, and an affirmation of Saudi identity, and geometric shapes of the Saudi style with the vocabulary of the Saudi cultural heritage of the Najdi style and the Arabic Gulf style, Red Sea Basin style, Sarat style, and others, and with a figment of imagination.
